Itinerary:


GOCEK - KEKOVA - GOCEK

 

Gocek, Kalkan, Kas, Kekova


Day 1st: Gocek
The boarding starts at 15:30 from Marmaris Harbour. On the first day, the service starts on the boat with dinner and an overnight stay in Marmaris Port. Marmaris, which was built upon one of the antique Karian cities called Phyckos, has been under the rule of many different civilizations. The most valuable work of art that you can see today is Marmaris Castle dating from 1577. There is also a mosque and an 8-room caravansary covered with arches from the Ottoman Period. The ruins of the Antique times lie on Asar Hill; a small, low hill located on the northern side of the city. Being one of the best-known touristic places of Turkey, Marmaris has also a large marina.

Day 2nd:
Butterfly Valley - Oludeniz - Gemiler Island
Boarding starts at 15:30 from Gocek Belediye Marina. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the island of Gocek.

Set at the deepest point of the gulf of Fethiye, Gocek nestles at the foot of the pine clad mountains looking out over the '12 islands' of the bay. Gocek which has recently started developing in tourism, is becoming a famous yachting harbour both in Turkey and in the world. One of the pleasures of a visit here is a stroll around the Marina to admire the array of boats of all shapes and sizes moored here. The waterfront is lined with bars and restaurants. With Dalaman Airport is only 30 minutes away, Gocek makes an ideal base while waiting for guests or visitors

Day 3rd: Ekincik - Adalı Bay - Manastir - Tersane Island
Because of the wavy seas of Disibilmez and Kurtoglu that we have to cross, we will cruise earlier than the other days and reach the world-famous Fethiye Gulf. We will anchor at Adalı Bay for breakfast. For lunch and a swimming break, we will go to Manastir (Monastery) Bay. This place is known as Cleopatra Bay or Sunken Bath Bay due to the beautiful underwater ruins of an old bath. We will anchor at Tersane Island for dinner and an overnight stay. This naturally protected harbour was used as the shipyard in Byzantine and Ottoman times.

Day 4th:
Kekova - Tersane - Ucagiz

We will cruise to the sunken city of Kekova. Here we will stop for a swimming break and for lunch at Tersane Bay where you will see an old shipyard from the Roman Period and a church from the Byzantine times. For dinner and an overnight stay the gulet will anchor in Ucagiz Bay.

Day 5th:
Simena - Demre - Gokkaya

After breakfast, we will anchor at Kaleköy (Simena), where you will have the chance to take one of the most beautiful photographs of Antique Lycia. For lunch and swimming break, we will cruise to Demre. Here you can join an optional tour from Çayağzı Bay to the ruins of Myra, a Lycia city which was also the city of the Bishop St. Nicholas who was known as 'the protector' of the children, the poor, and the sailors in Byzantine time. We will anchor at Gökkaya Bay for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6th:
Kaputas Beach - Yesilkoy

We will cruise early in the morning. Breakfast will be served on the way. We will take a swimming break at Kaputas Beach. For dinner and an overnight stay, we will anchor in Yesilkoy.

Day 7th:
Cleopatra Bay - Bedri Rahmi - Tersane Island - Yassica Island

We will start cruising early in the morning. Breakfast will be served at Cleopatra Bay. This place is also known as Monastery Bay or Sunken Bath Bay due to the beautiful underwater ruins of an old bath. Then we will set sail for Bedri Rahmi Bay. Bedri Rahmi is a famous Turkish artist who made one of the first 'Blue Cruises' in Turkey. Following his visit the bay was named after him. After a swimming break at Bedri Rahmi Bay we will cruise to Tersane Island for a swimming break and lunch. Then we will cruise to Yassica Islands to spend the night and enjoy the wonderful scenery.

Day 8th: Gocek
The guests will leave the boat with precious memories by 10:30 after breakfast.
